Static, delays and volume issues.
There are numerous reasons as to why a user may experience call degradation. Here are a few ways to fix the issue if it's on the user side:
- Log out of both Zendesk and Amazon Connect, then close out/reopen the browser.
- Close out of excess programs or multiple browsers.
- If reopening the browser does not work, restart your computer.
- Try a new USB port for your headset.
Unable to hear the customer or customer cannot hear you?
- Double check that your volume is turned up to a reasonable level.
- Make sure your headset is properly plugged in. Try playing music or a video to confirm you can hear.
- Within the browser click the lock next to the URL. Click Site Settings. Under permissions, make sure Microphone and Sound are set to allow.
