DELIVERY PUSHOFFS |
REV 10/4/2022 |
Purpose:
To ensure that all returning stops that are to be either sent out the following day or are to be put back into inventory are properly received, entered and staged.
Process:
Step 1.
Orders --> Delivery Dispatch --> Select targeted route --> Start Dispatch -->
Step 2.
Select the customer that needs to be moved to the clipboard and place into the:
- Push Off Zone
- Snow Zone
- Void Zone
Step 3.
Stop Dispatch --> click onto the targeted account --> adjust the date in accordance
Step 4.
After the date has been adjusted as needed, then you are able to dispatch to the appropriate zone.
Step 5.
Contact the DSR and have them complete a full sync or upload of their handheld – the full sync is to be conducted prior to the trucks return to the warehouse and/or strip-truck.
- If the DSR started the delivery, and there is a red triangle next to the customer’s name, the DSR must first reset the delivery and then initiate the full sync or upload.
Step 6.
When the driver returns with a stop you will need to confirm the following before check-in:
- Driver notified a supervisor that the stop was returning.
- The stop was moved in the system.
- Full sync was done (You should not see the stop on the iPad)
- Start check-in – you will see the beer in the iPad and need to confirm.
- Stops that are going back out another day need to be tagged with the sign below.
Step 7.
All product from returning stops will be staged in one of two physical locations:
- Load Lane – stops that will be put back into inventory
- “Truck Returns: Push-Off Staging Area” – stops that will be staged and rerouted to go out the following business day. Location is at the end of pick aisle A, across from large green AC
